Elizabeth O’Malley

Elizabeth O’Malley (nee Heim), age 55, of LaGrange. Beloved wife of James O’Malley for a wonderful 28 years. Loving mother of Patrick and Sarah O’Malley. Dear daughter of Ronald and Margaret Heim. Cherished sister of Judi (Rudy) Geidans, Ronald (Angela) Heim, and Michelle (Terry) Carney. Fond aunt and friend of many.

Elizabeth devoted her life to her family. She loved bike riding, long walks with her friends, spending time with her family, and weekend football marathons. She is a wonderful mother with a beautiful soul who always made sure we had everything we ever needed, especially love. Elizabeth loved when people would come to the house and tell her it felt like a big hug.

Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Cletus Church, 600 W. 55th St., Countryside for 10am Mass on Friday, March 19th. Group limit of 140 guests. All guests must register at signupgenius.com/go/stcletus_omalley. Mass will be livestreamed at youtube.com/stcletusparish. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Charity: Water at charitywater.org/donate & Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance at ocrahope.org.

      Thanks so much for the words of comfort. It’s a difficult time but Beth was ready to move on to the next phase of life so we are happy that she is in a place of joy and peace.

  3. We are so sorry for your loss. We wish we could have gotten to know Jim and the children through the years. Beth was always a great kid, very loving and kind to all and was a special niece with a beautiful smile. May you find comfort in knowing that she is well and whole and is looking into the face of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  7. Jim, Beth loved her life. Thank you for bringing her so much joy. Patrick and Sarah, your mom absolutely adored you. She was always so proud of you both. Beth was a beautiful person and I’m blessed to have known her.

  8. As a young girl growing up across the street from us, we remember this beautiful and wonderful girl. She was kind, thoughtful and always smiling. Going through all that she has, she sent us a card when we lost our son in January. We were extremely touched.
    She is healed now and in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
