Ralph Rudolph

Ralph Rudolph, age 62, of LaGrange, passed away on April 28th, 2025. Loving father of Ella, Louise, and their sweet dog, Petey; beloved best friend of Amy; cherished brother of Cindy Herkelrath, Dennis Rudolph, and Bonny Labash; devoted son of the late Albert and Phyllis Rudolph; fond uncle and friend of many.

To know Ralph was to love him. He was a kind, giving man who always put others before himself. He had a great sense of humor and always made us laugh.

Ralph spent his early years serving for the Marine Corps. He was a very driven, motivated, and hard worker throughout his career.

He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Petey, golfing with friends, spending time in Michigan with his family, and watching the Chicago Bears.

He was a foodie who loved to cook and was always trying new restaurants with his daughters. Ralph always enjoyed a cold beer at Buckledown Brewery.

There are not enough words to describe the loss that we feel and how much he meant to us. He will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Stay; For Life are greatly appreciated.

Visitation 11am until time of words of remembrance, 4pm, on Monday, May 5th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Interment Private. Additional Information: 708-352-6500

  6. I knew Ralph thru his older brother Dennis who was a close pal of mine. He was a good kid, two years younger than I. The last time we saw each other was at a memorial golf outing for another childhood friend of ours. Ralph was a full grown man then, and he looked and sounded great. My condolences to Ralph’s family and all who knew and liked him.

  9. To all who knew him-I am so bummed out hearing of our loss. I worked with Ralph for several years and I can truly say he was the kindest man I ever met. He was the most honest, straight forward, level-headed guy I’ve known, as well.
I’m in complete shock and DEEPLY saddened by this news.
