Ralph Rudolph

Ralph Rudolph, age 62, of LaGrange, passed away on April 28th, 2025. Loving father of Ella, Louise, and their sweet dog, Petey; beloved best friend of Amy; cherished brother of Cindy Herkelrath, Dennis Rudolph, and Bonny Labash; devoted son of the late Albert and Phyllis Rudolph; fond uncle and friend of many.

To know Ralph was to love him. He was a kind, giving man who always put others before himself. He had a great sense of humor and always made us laugh.

Ralph spent his early years serving for the Marine Corps. He was a very driven, motivated, and hard worker throughout his career.

He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Petey, golfing with friends, spending time in Michigan with his family, and watching the Chicago Bears.

He was a foodie who loved to cook and was always trying new restaurants with his daughters. Ralph always enjoyed a cold beer at Buckledown Brewery.

There are not enough words to describe the loss that we feel and how much he meant to us. He will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Stay; For Life are greatly appreciated.

  6. I knew Ralph thru his older brother Dennis who was a close pal of mine. He was a good kid, two years younger than I. The last time we saw each other was at a memorial golf outing for another childhood friend of ours. Ralph was a full grown man then, and he looked and sounded great. My condolences to Ralph’s family and all who knew and liked him.

  16. Dear Dennis and the entire Rudolph Family. So sorry to hear about the passing of Ralph. I didn’t get to spend much time with Ralph growing up as he was a bit younger than me but I do clearly remember him having that great Rudolph personality of kindness and love of family. I know the days ahead will very sad as you will miss seeing and being with him so much. Remember to trust your faith as Ralph will always be with you in spirit until we all meet again in a new heaven and new earth. My favorite passage in the bible is John 1-14 and is where I believe the main gospel of the bible refers to God’s grace and salvation offered through Jesus Christ. “In the beginnings the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

The word (that was spirit) became flesh (became Jesus, the physical) and he walked here with us on this earth. and Jesus is now (spirit in heaven.) The same will be blessed for Ralph. One day long ago Ralph was just a twinkle in your parents eyes (spirit) Then Albert and Phyllis were blessed with a beautiful baby boy (the physical) and now Ralph is back home with your wonderful parents n heaven (spirit)

Trust God’s promise to bring us all back together in a new heaven and new earth. Although I’m not in a hurry as we all have things to still do here, on this earth, but I look forward to that day where we all will be together again, in that new heaven and new earth.

Trust Grace ! Love ya all.

    Your Friend, Andy Spicer
