Winnie Sinnott

Winnie Sinnott (nee Gilleran), 93, of LaGrange Park, formerly of Chicago. Beloved wife of Richard Sinnott for a wonderful 70 years. Loving mother of Jim (Mary) Sinnott, the late Joyce Bagdon, Rick (Bev) Sinnott, Tom (Donna) Sinnott and Susan Rademacher. Devoted grandmother of Emmet (Jacqui) Sinnott and William (Grace) Sinnott; Hillary (Dave) Pilotto; Kevin, Marina (Reed Showalter) Sinnott, Mack and Robert Sinnott; & Molly Rademacher. Dear great-grandmother of Sonny, James, Leo and EJ.

Winnie was a longtime member of the Golden Agers and CCW Bowling League at St. Richard Catholic Church, Chicago.  She was an avid volunteer of the St. Richard annual carnivals. She will be remembered for her love of the color purple, especially her favorite flower, Iris.

Visitation 9am until time of Mass 11am Thursday, May 18th at St. Francis Xavier Church (Unity Hall), 124 N. Spring Ave., LaGrange. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls at mercyhome.org.

  1. I remember Winnie well from St. Richard. The Golden Agers were such a big part of making our parish and school such a wonderful place in the community. Praying for her and her family 🙏🏻

  2. Sorry we will not be able to attend the funeral, she was a wonderful person, a great Aunt, and always willing to help any way she could. Wish we could make it to be with the family and Uncle Rich but just not possible. All the best to you all and prayers for the family.
