Anamarie Jani, 54, of Willowbrook. Beloved daughter of Frank and Ana Jani. Loving sister of Lillian (Chris) Janowski and Peter Jani. Devoted aunt of Nicholas, Diana and Luke Janowski. Anamarie is also survived by many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, as well as her beloved 4th & 5th grade students in the Cicero School District. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Anamarie. I am heart broken and speechless about this news.
I know that I haven’t kept in touch with all of you and I apologize for that. Now Anamarie and Chris can be with each other in Heaven and watch over all of us. Again, I am so very sorry.

We knew Anamarie since she was little girl, since we were next door neighbors. We are shocked by her death and grieve for her parents. To have to bury one’s child is a terrible pain never to be forgotten. May the Lord put his comforting arms about them.

Anamarie was my college roomie. She was pure sunshine with a heart of gold. She made the world a brighter place. I’ll miss our conversations. She’ll always be in my heart.
Ms. Jani was by far one of my favorite teachers back at Cicero East, I am now in college. She was always so encouraging and thanks to her and the things she taught me throughout my time at Cicero East as a part of her literature alive program I was able to find myself and the career I want to pursue. She wasn’t just a good teacher, she was an amazing person too and I hope that everyone who knew her remembers her fondly. I’ll always miss her
Ms Jani was my fourth grade teacher during remote learning 2020-2021. My classmates this year were very heartbroken about the news. We truly loved Ms. Jani and her encouraging personality. She was very funny and I loved her laugh, it would be funny when she would snort in her chuckles and laughs <3
I worked with Anamarie when I was a teacher at Cicero East Elementary 2003-2006. She was a wonderful person who was incredibly dedicated to her students.
