Betty Jean Eide, a more recent resident of Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, formerly of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bellwood, Illinois and Tomahawk, Wisconsin, was born July 14, 1927 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin and passed away on August 27, 2021 at Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, Illinois.  Betty was the loving aunt of Susan, Jeffrey (Sandra), Steven, Dennis (Caroline), and Jim (Barbara).  She was preceded in death by her sisters Eunice Patzer (Eide), Rita Parent (Eide) and Kathleen Patzer (Eide).  Betty was the loving great-aunt to Scott (Kelli), Kristen (Keith), Christopher (Sarah), and Denny (Michelle) and great-great-aunt to Bennett, Reese, Katelyn, and Andrew.  She is survived by her cousin Milan (Kay) Buege of Wausau, WI.  Betty was also preceded in death by her parents Nick and Esther Eide (Buege) of Tomahawk, Wisconsin and her nephew Jim.  Services and interment will be private.  Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home in Downers Grove, IL 630-964-6500.
