Erin Bernadette Malone, age 39, of LaGrange; beloved wife of Jonathan Chase Malone; proud mother of Tyler & Claire; loving daughter of Doug & Linda Jensen; dear sister of Kristin (Jason) Dobrzynski and Laura (Sean) Boettcher; sister-in-law of Elizabeth (Jeff) Drenthe; aunt of Teagan & Theo Dobrzynski, Elliott & Amelie Boettcher, and Lillian Drenthe; niece, cousin & friend to many.

Visitation 3 to 9pm on Tuesday, April 6 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. 50 people admitted in funeral home at a time. Social distancing guidelines in place; masks required. Family & friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7 for 10 a.m. Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church of LaGrange, 124 N.     1. I am so sorry for your loss. Erin was a very special person. I was honored to know her. She will be greatly missed. Sending love and prayers to her children,Tyler and Claire. Her husband Jon and her parents and sisters. As well as to all of her family and friends.

I never met Erin, but I knew of her amazing strength and her awesomeness as a person through my friendship with her father (Doug), mother (Linda), aunt (Lisa), and her time at our company before I joined. She clearly overcame unbelievable obstacles and just as clearly built a terrific family. May you all find strength in the love of her memory always.

    I am so sorry to hear about Erin’s passing. May you find comfort during this difficult time knowing that her spirit lives on, in her children and you find solace in all the good memories you share with one another.

  9. Erin was one of the first MIA employees I met when I joined the company and made my initial visit to our McHenry office.
    She made me feel at home , she was .always smiling & friendly.
    She will be missed by family and others who knew her.

  15. Erin welcomed me and made me feel like a special part of this family. She always took the extra time to care about me and my family especially during difficult times. It was always so appreciated, and I know she is continuing to do the same now in other ways. She made a difference in my life because of her sincerity and her courage. I will miss her dearly.
