Ronnie Ray Waymire, Sr., of Hodgkins, IL, formerly of Lyons, IL. A retired truck driver, with 45 years of service. Beloved husband of Katherine R. Waymire (nee Pamulak). Loving father of Denise Gerlowski, Maria Ankarla, Sandra (Michael) King, Ronnie, Jr. (Patricia) Waymire, Kaylee Waymire, Lori (Jeff) Rogers, Kimi Durmaj, and the late Dawn (late Robert) Gagnon. Proud grandfather of Rob, Cody, Dakota, Bobby, Nikki, Heather, T.J., Paul, Ashley, Ethan, Taylor, Marissa, Drew, Nolan, Jake, Ryan, Ronnie III, Tommy and Alexandra. He is also survived by many loved great grandchildren. Dear brother of Sonhia (Jessie) Garrett, Connie (Marty) Flood, Dwight Waymire, Jimmy (Donna) Waymire, Violet (Rob) Stewart, the late Richard Waymire, the late Edward Waymire, and the late Brenda (Woody) Garrett. Uncle and friend of many. Visitation 3 to 9pm Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th Street, Countryside, with a Funeral Service at 7pm.   1. No words can I write, my heart hurts to bad.But our last phone conversation was the peace he left with me and I will carry it always within a special place. Thank you Ronnie. I know you are at Peace , until I see you again .

  2. I am deeply saddened to hear of Ronnie’s passing. He was a terrific man and I was awfully fond of him. I know that there are no words that will ease the pain of his passing, but know that I am thinking of you all.

    He put up a hard fight to this dreadful disease, no longer in pain and suffering. May you REST IN PEACE and he is God’s hand.

  5. Sandy I wish more than anything Incouks be there physically but know that I am spiritually and I got a hold of you. Your Father is so blessed because he is now healthy and happy and smiling down on all of you keeping watch until you are reunited.

I knew Ronnie many years ago when his Mother,2 of his sisters & his 2 youngest brothers lived down the street from us in Chicago,IL he was a great person & I know he will be surely missed .

  7. Ronnie and I were friends and classmates many years ago in Blythe. I am saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
