John Joseph Gleason, age 77, longtime resident of LaGrange; passed away September 28, 2025. Son of the belated Joseph “Red” and Mary Gleason; beloved husband of Kathleen “Kathy” nee Wright; loving father of Shawn (Michelle) and Mary “Mary Kate” (Tim) Collins; proud Papa to Isabella, Emilia, and Maria Gleason, and Caitlin, Erin, and Martin Collins; dear brother of Eileen (Pat) Flynn, Nancy (Michael) Daley, and Mary (Tom) Weyer; uncle and friend to many.
Visitation 3:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, October 2, at Hallowell & James, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, IL. Funeral Mass 10:00am, Friday, October 3, at St. Francis Xavier, 124 N. Spring Ave., LaGrange, IL. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Food Pantry (Food Pantry Donations).
I just wanted to say I’m sorry about the loss of your dad..He is an angel now looking over you you. Good bless you and be strong.
