Gary Edward Cozzolino, 65 of Downers Grove. Beloved husband of the late Therese nee Atkins. Loving father of Daniel Cozzolino, Ashley (Michael) Loy and Christopher Cozzolino. Devoted grandfather of Madison, Olivia, and Ava Grace Loy. Loved son of the late Florence (nee Bednarczyk) and late Stephen Cozzolino. Cherished brother of Steven (Mary) Cozzolino, Wayne Cozzolino, Tina (Robert) Tatum and the late Gregory Cozzolino. Dear uncle of many.
Visitation 3 to 9pm Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75th Street, Downers Grove. Chapel prayers 10am Monday, July 21, 2025 at the funeral home to St. Joseph Church, Downers Grove for Mass at 10:30am. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery. Gary was a structural ironworker, Local 1 since 1980. He was interested in classic cars, motorcycles, fishing and coin collecting. Funeral home phone 630/964-6500

Oh Gary my brother, you are out of pain and suffering. I know you are walking, running and hugging everyone there in heaven. Rest in eternal peace dear brother! Don’t worry about the kids. I know you and Terry will always be their guardian angels! I miss you! Love your little sister Tina

Gary’s son Danny and I grew up great child hood friends along with our whole family. He was always so generous and caring. He was a great father to his kids. There are so many memories I will always cherish of him. Sending our condolences to the whole cozzolino family. Praying for you all. Rest Easy Mr. Cozzolino. You will be missed.
