Robert Hart

Robert Hart, age 60, of Warrenville, passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2024. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Culbertson); loving father of Shawn, Joshua, and Lilian; cherished grandfather of Dallas; devoted brother of Debra (D’Andre) Childs and the late Cathy; adored son of Margaret & the late Robert; fond uncle and friend of many.

Bob is fondly remembered for his smile, his laughter and his enthusiasm to have fun memories with his family.

Bob loved fast cars, old cars (well any cars if it had wheels on it) or any car Bob had bought or was looking for!!

He had so much passion he could move mountains. There was a strength that emitted from him. It’s not surprising to hear Bob found the love of camping at an early age. The trips were full of family adventures and love and fun!! Bob was in charge of the fun, and we all enjoyed a trip with Bob.

The ultimate bad dad jokes was his favorite pastime to torture his children.  He was a loving father and a loving father to all his children’s friends. He stepped up to the plate to welcome into the home his nieces and forever treated them like his daughters.

His mother and sister were always in his heart and thoughts constantly.  Bob was always there for his father and many trips to northern Minnesota were made to help him build their retirement home.

Bob loved spending time in Minnesota fishing with all of the aunts and uncles and parents.

He was a hardworking man that went above and beyond the job to provide for his loved ones.

Bob was the best grandpa and would go anywhere and any place Dallas wanted to play.

He was a loving husband and she was his greatest love he had along with the rest of his family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisle are greatly appreciated.

Visitation 3 to 9pm on Monday, April 29th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove. An 11am Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 30th. Burial to follow at Bethania Cemetery, Justice.
