Toms C. Zolk

Toms C. Zolk, age 78, of LaGrange; beloved husband of Cynthia Zolk; loving father of Randall (Melissa) Zolk, Loren (Megan) Zolk, & Kimberly (Chris) Stromer; proud grandfather of 12; dear brother of the late John Zolk.

Toms grew up in LaGrange, and graduated from Lyons Township High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry as well as an MBA, both from the University of Missouri. While there, he was a member of the Marching Mizzou. Toms was in the US Army, and served in Vietnam 1970-1971. Later, he was a soccer referee for AYSO & IHSA. He was the Building Manager at the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange for a wonderful 21 years. Recently, Toms was inducted into the 7th Philosophy Club for AYSO. He was a longstanding member of the Y’s Men.

Memorial Service 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 26 at the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange, 100 W. Cossitt, LaGrange. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange are appreciated. Funeral info: (708) 352-6500

  1. If angels have wings then Tom is soaring high. Having worked for him for almost 15 years I always enjoyed his sincerity and love of life attitude. I’m sad to lose Tom but happy for the time we spent together. Soar high and be glorified. Gary Chrencik
