Dolores Broz

Dolores Broz, widow of the late Jack, and 65-year resident of Western Springs passed away June 24th at her beloved home. Ms. Broz, 90, enjoyed an active life of swimming, traveling, and bridge well into her 70s; a battle with multiple myeloma (which she won) severely curtailed her lifestyle in her later years.  She is survived by her sons Tom (Deb) and Jack Jr., her grandchildren Eric, Jason, Alex, and Jake, and her great-grandchildren Austin and Luella. She held a special place in her heart for her late grandson Nathan. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Countryside.

  1. My brother Alex and I had many good memories with our Granny. Salt Creek pool, Brookfield Zoo, McDonald’s headquarters in Oak Brook where she worked at the gym, letting us sleep in and have mac and cheese for breakfast, enjoying the time together. She liked playing solitaire, watching Columbo (just one more thing!) and enjoying her private garden. RIP Granny Broz.
