  1. My Aunt Rose filled in as my second mother. I have so many wonderful memories of her and my Uncle Sal. Aunt Rose was always there to talk to me, give me her recipes and her hugs. She would bandage my knees when I fell, meet me after school when I was being bullied and protect me when I got my mother angry at me. She was the one who taught me so many things, sewing, art, how to be a lady and how to take care of houseplants.
I will miss her voice and her laugh and most of all her wisdom. May God bring you into his light and his love and say hello to Uncle Sal and Michael for me. Love you Aunt Rose!

    1. Mary Lee, thank you for sharing your memories of my mother. I know she loved you and your family very much and am sure she is proudly watching over us, even now. – Kathy

  2. My family has many found memories of our visits with Aunt Rose and Uncle Sal in Long Island. Later, when they moved to California my brother, Parker & my Mom, Jean, enjoyed visiting them in their lovely home. Aunt Rose was always so kind, upbeat, and such a joy to be around. We were blessed to spend time with her enjoying conversations and great cooking tips. You will be missed Aunt Rose. To your beautiful family & our cousins you are all in our prayers.

    1. Thank you so much Cindy for sharing your beautiful thoughts and memories. I know my mother and father cherished those visits as well (as did my sister and I) and missed you all when you moved to Florida! Now my parents are together in a different place, but will remain forever in our hearts. – Kathy
