Madonna Curran

Madonna Curran, nee Martin, of Indian Head Park, formerly of Riverside, age 72. Beloved wife of the late Tony Curran; loving mother of Shannon (Brad) Prischman and Tony (Melissa) Curran; proud grandmother of Anthony and Reagan Curran and Madonna “Maddie” and Cora Prischman; dear sister of Angela Dunning and the late Mickey (Joan) Madigan; adoring sister-in-law of Kathleen (Tom) Champion, the late Robert Thomas Curran Jr., Mary Martha (Dennis) McConnell, Marie Estelle (Mark) Nolan, Susan (John) Loberg, Roy (Claudia) Curran, Jeanne (Rich) Halko, Elaine (Kent) Miller, and the late Joseph (Julie) Curran, fond Auntie of many nieces and nephews.

 

Madonna was an active Mom and Grandma. She spent years volunteering her time with the St. Mary’s Catholic Council of Women, Fenwick Mother’s Club, Fenwick Board of Trustees and Riverside Infant Welfare Society.  She was also a proud member of the Riverside Merry Makers and the Riverside Farklers. Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 10 from 8:30am to 9:30am at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral Mass to follow, 10am at St. Cletus Parish, 700 W. 55th St., LaGrange.  Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Legacy Guild, https://thelegacyguild.com

  1. I met Madonna 6 years ago. A delightful person full of life. She was vivacious and loved fun. Rest in peace. Shannon please know that your mom was a warm , caring person. Remember the fun times and know that your mom loved you more than more.
