Paul E. Rollins, age 81, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; beloved husband of Rita née Howland; loving father of Paul E. (Elizabeth Fields) Rollins, Jr., Beth Carter, Ashley (Casey) Ferraro, April (Ashley) Hughes, Ronald Rydin, Jr., & Russell Rydin; proud grandfather of Mitchelle Hardee, Bentley Carter, Charlie Rollins, Tessa Rydin, Boone Ferraro, Boden Ferraro, Hannah Reeves, & CJ Paxton; dear brother of Ann Ellstrom; uncle and friend of many.

Paul was a Builder/General Contractor for 40 years and had his own company, Carolinas Building Group, Inc. until 2008. After 2008, Paul lived in Cordova, SC, and enjoyed fishing on his 4 acre pond and hunting on his 87 acre farm. He loved every minute of it.
He was a graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, SC, and served in the Army in Korea with an Honorable Discharge as Captain. He was also a Deacon, Mason, Shriner, Life Member of the Citadel Alumni Association, Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Life Member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association, and was inducted into the South Carolina and North Carolina Hall of Fame. He spent his later years as an Aflac Insurance Agent winning Top Salesman of the Year in 2013. He was taking care of his accounts up to the time he had his stroke on November 1, 2020.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, November 14 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside. Military honors will follow. Interment private.
