Marjorie A. Predan

Marjorie died peacefully at home in the early morning of Tuesday, October 18th, surrounded by family and friends.

Margie was born Dec. 11,1936 in Ottawa, Illinois to Russel and Kathryn (McGrath) Kenyon. She married the love of her life Robert Predan in October 1961 in Peoria, Illinois and resided in Evanston before moving to La Grange where they resided for the rest of their lives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother James R. Kenyon and sister-in-law Carole J. Kenyon, her niece, Susan A. Herbert, and great nephew Christopher James Kenyon. Surviving is her nephew James R. Kenyon Jr. (Jo Anne), great nieces Jennifer (Jason) Chan, Leigh Anne (Andrew) Larsen, and Sara (Matthew) Stacy, and Meredith Herbert and a great nephew Kenyon Herbert (Megan). She is also survived by 12 grand nieces and nephews.

Margie was a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University where she joined Alpha Omicron Pi. She was a member of St Cletus Catholic parish in LaGrange and belonged to the daughters of the American Revolution. She worked as an executive assistant at the Chicago Stock Exchange and was on the Board of the American Arthritis Foundation. One of her favorite charities was the American Humane Association as she was very attached to her pets (4 dogs and 2 cats over the years).

Visitation will be held from 8:45am until time of chapel prayers, 9:30am on Tuesday, October 25th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Cletus Church, La Grange will follow. Burial at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery will take place privately. Funeral information: 708-352-6500
