Randy Rey Rodriguez

Randy Rey Rodriguez, age 62, of Chicago. Beloved son of Rudy and the late Basilisa “Betty” Rodriguez. Loving brother of Rudy Rodriguez and Rachel (Charles) Luna. Devoted uncle of Rudy, Ryan, Lysette, and Alexander. Fond nephew of Ronald Rodriguez. Cherished cousin of many. Randy was preceded in death by many of his aunts and uncles.

Randy will be remembered for being good hearted and a good friend to all. He served on the Cook County Sheriff’s Department for 30 years.

Visitation 3 to 9pm Thursday, September 29th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Chapel prayers 8:45am on Friday, September 30th from the Funeral Home to St. Cletus Church for Mass at 9:30am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Randy’s passing and remember him fondly in our days of working together at the Cook County Sheriff’s Department, he was a good and kind man and great co-worker, I was blessed to have shared his friendship, my condolences prayers and thoughts go out to his family at this sad and difficult time,
