  4. My Dearest Steve,
Your heart is broken and the anguish you feel is equaled only by your devotion and depth of your love for Susan. The joy, fun, as well as the sharing of grief set the two of you apart from most couples I’ve known. That warm comfort was felt by any of us blessed to be in that sacred space. Your loving words were always backed up by your loving actions. What a gift you both gave me by keeping a place in your family set aside for me. It will always be my greatest blessing to have been invited into your lives. May our Heavenly Father hold you safely in his heart as I will hold you in mine.
    Forever and always, Sandy
