Knapp, age 104, of LaGrange Park; beloved wife of the late Stanley Knapp; loving mother of the late Stanley Edward Knapp, Ruth Praser, & William (Dianne) Knapp; proud grandmother of Don (Misi), Laura (Jim), Steve (Karen), Richard (Carrie), Michael (Kim), Andy (Mary), & Jenny (Ron); great-grandmother of Joanne, Rayun, Eva, Jaime, Tim, David, Josie, Jake, Rose, James, Emily, Christopher, & Bruce; aunt & friend of many.
Visitation 4 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 24 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. My sincere condolences to the Knapp Family. I have fond memories of Josephine and Stanley. She was a great conversationalist and always had interesting comments and questions about parish life and other things. May she Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear the news of the passing of Josephine. She and I kept in contact, even though I had not seen her for more than ten years. We shared the same birthdate, as well as many other points of interest. She will be missed tremendously. I will keep her in my personal prayers and the prayers of the Eucharist.
