Rose L. Carroll, age 97, of LaGrange Park. Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Carroll. Loving mother of Diane Carroll and the late Janet (Greg Miller) Carroll-Miller. Devoted grandmother of Carol (Michael) Magosky, AJ (Jennifer) Crowe, Brian (Amanda) Crowe, Kelly (David) Ridarelli, and Katelyn (Jerry) Pond. Dear great-grandmother of Averie, Aiden, Anna, Ellie, Lillian, and Vincent. Cherished sister of Lawrence (Ann) Farino, the late Phillip (Katherine) Farino, and Delores (Frank) Cerwin. Fond aunt and cousin of many.

Visitation 3 to 9pm Friday, October 15th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Chapel prayers 10:15am Saturday, October 16th at the funeral home, processing to 11am Mass at St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

    I feel I’ve known all of you as Diane and I worked together at Neimans for years. I also worked with Rose.
    Stewart and I watched how close Diane and her family are to Rose

    I am sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. Although mere words are inadequate at this time, I hope that it helps you to know that others care and understand the gravity of your loss.
    May the recollections of the many years you were able to share with your dearest mother, comfort and strengthen you as you go forward. No doubt she was proud of you and your many accomplishments as well as all of the care that you provided in her later years.. May her memory always remain as a blessing to you and all the members of your family. For now you are her legacy and I am sure that you will continue to make her proud.

    I contacted many people for you re your family and mom, they want to text or email. I told them neither work correctly and I tried to help. Perhaps someone can help so you can receive the condolence. You know we care so much. You have a wonderful funeral home.
