Nikola “Nick” Budimir, 97, born March 8, 1924 in Vrelo, Gracac,Yugoslavia to Tome & Mika Budimir. He passed away peacefully May 30, 2021 in Countryside, IL. Nikola is survived by his beloved wife Djurdja “Georgia” Budimir, his children; Dushanka “Dee” (Fredric) Lowe, Dushan Budimir, Nada (Donald) Kucharzyk, Alexander Budimir, daughter-in-law Lori Budimir, grandchildren; David Budimir, Michelle (Brian) Brooks, Nikki Lowe, Michael Lowe, Alex Budimir, Tommy Budimir, great grandchild Jackson along with his brother Milan (Danica) Budimir of Serbia with many brothers and sisters in-law and numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers & sisters Dane, Sophia, Dusan, Dusanka, Mara, Smilja, and Kosovka. Family and friends are invited to meet at 11:00am on Friday, June 4th for the funeral service (Pomen) at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 32377 N. Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville.
