Edith Flanders, age 88, of Aurora, Colorado & formerly of Western Springs, Illinois. Daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Mason; beloved wife of the late Melvin; loving mother of George (Monica Lee) Flanders and Susan Doppke; devoted grandmother of James; dear sister of Lois (Dale); preceded in death by her siblings Winnifred, Jean, Clifford (Nancy), & Bruce. Edith was a training manager at Illinois Bell, a member of the First United Methodist Church of La Grange IL, and an active member in the Business and Professional Women‘s (BPW) club.

Visitation 3 to 9pm on Wednesday, March 31 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Maximum 50 people admitted into the funeral home at a time. Social distancing guidelines in place; masks required.

Funeral service 10:30am on Thursday, April 1 at the funeral home.
