  2. Dear Jacobs,
I find myself at a loss in expressing how saddened all of us were to hear of John’s passing. He, as the patriarch of such a loving and amazing family, left a deep impression on the teaching community of St. Cletus. My job, as a teacher, was made so much easier in having you two as supportive, happy, and guiding parents. I was lucky enough to have taught five of your children, one seemingly more remarkable than the other, but grounded in faith, kindness, and love. The children will carry this legacy with them through life, and now rely on each other to strengthen them. Please accept my condolences, but also be assured that John, and all of you, made me not only a better teacher, but a better person. God bless you all.
