Andrew Newman

With the most profound sorrow, we announce that Andrew Newman, at age 28, passed suddenly on Friday, February 12, 2021.

He was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend. Those who knew Andrew were always greeted by his vibrant smile, love of life, and hope. His smile will always be a part of us. He will be remembered for his compassion, kindness, and energetic personality. He had an enormous presence when he walked into the room that everyone commented on. He was fiercely loyal to his friends and family.

Andrew James Newman was born on November 16, 1992, to Andy and Nancy (Ebener) Newman. He was the eldest of three boys. He was very protective over his two brothers, Kyle and Zach.

He pushed and motivated everybody he encountered to be the best versions of themselves. Andrew wore many hats confidently. He was a mentor, coach, and confidant. Sports and fitness were a massive part of his life. What started as a love for baseball morphed into a love for fitness. His discipline and determination were astonishing. He was always hungry for success. Failure was never an option. He greeted each day with anticipation. His dreams weighed more than his excuses. He lived each day to the fullest. He found an immense source of pride in his work and was truly loved by everyone he knew. His work ethic never went unnoticed at Hub Group.

Andrew met the love of his life in the fall of 2015. He cherished Lupe and loved her with intensity. Their love was so passionate. They were each other’s soulmates and were inseparable. Their love for each other was genuinely unconditional, a love so precious that will forever live on.

This gentle, loving, caring man has left a permanent mark etched in our hearts. There are no words to describe how immensely he will be missed. Remember that life is fragile and should be lived to the fullest.

Andrew was preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Newman, Grandma and Grandpa Ebener, Uncle Billy, and Uncle Jimmy.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 9pm on Wednesday, February 17 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th Street in Countryside. Masks required and social distancing measures are in place. 19. I am so sorry for your loss. Andrew and I were coworkers. I have not spoken to him in a couple of years but when I learned of his passing recently, I wanted to reach out and say how very sad I am to hear the news. He was friendly and kind and really just a bright spot in everyone’s day. You don’t meet people as genuine as him every day, so even though it’s been a few years, it still hit me hard to hear he passed away. God Bless his family and friends. Rest in Peace, Andrew.
