  1. I am so sorry to hear about Dick’s passing. Dick was a prince of a man – very devoted to La Rabida, very proud of his family, and a very human person with great compassion for others and a gentle soul. I was privileged to know Dick as a Trustee of La Rabida and he taught me so much about the hospital, its finances and the beauty of its operations and mission, but he also showed me how to be a compassionate leader. I’ll always be indebted to him for his service and commitment to La Rabida, but also as a friend.

  2. On behalf of the La Rabida Family we express our deepest sympathy and love to Pat and the rest of the family. I had the pleasure of working with Dick throughout his years at the hospital. I also had a chance to chat with him recently. His heart was always in the right place. His Love of family always came first and foremost.
