  1. Hello! I am so sorry to hear of Sonny passing. I am Noreen Saunders Mayerhofer. I believe my Mom, Dorothy Saunders and Irene
were cousins. Last time my cousin Phil Mundle and I visited I asked about the Simaz Family. I had not seen Sonny for years.
I remember him as a fine young man with a great smile. Just wish to send my deepest sympathy to you Patricia. I will send a donation to the American Heart Assoc. in his memory. Please take care. Noreen Mayerhofer

  2. Sorry to hear about the death of August. I remember a summer in the 50’s, going to the Indiana Sand Dunes with our families and having a good time. I will keep him in my prayers. May he Rest In Peace.

  3. Dear Pat,

I am Cheryl, Marybeth’s cousin. I am very saddened to learn of Augie’s passing.
I always enjoyed seeing you and Augie at some of the family “get togethers”

You have my deepest sympathy. I will keep Augie, you, and your family in my thoughts
and prayers. May Augie Rest In Peace in his heavenly home.

I will send a donation to one of the foundations in Augie’s name.

I pray that God will help you during this difficult time.

    Sincerely,

  4. Dear Pat,

We were so sorry to hear of August’s passing. He was a kind, generous, and wonderful neighbor. I will miss our conversations in the backyard.

  5. Pat:
We were very surprised by your call the other morning about the loss of Augie. You two made a great couple always there for each other and I know Augie will be missed.

I am glad was able to talk with you and Augie a week or so ago to catch up. Mark was reminiscing about one of the times we got together and Augie brought his fishing pole and he fished off the dock. I recollect times when I was small and Uncle Gus and Augie were out catching smelt and had brought buckets full. We spent hours cleaning them but they were very good.

You will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Let me know if you need anything.

    Love
    Marybeth and Mark
