  1. Sorry we cannot gather with you on Saturday to pay tribute to your mother, sister, mother-in-law, grandmother, friend and more – Kay. It was kind of David to let us know of her passing. Memories of dinners with Kay and Don, Garden Avenue bridge group (gabbed in the middle of the street in the early morning hours) and in later years Kay, Shirley and Carol’s lunches. The memories keep coming, and we will never forget Kay’s humor, storytelling, decorating talent and love of family. In Kay’s memory was have made a contribution to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

  2. My sympathy to the Whalen and Traut families.

I worked with Kay as an Interior Designer when she was Store Manager at Tom’s-Price
Home Furnishing’s. She was one classy lady who was respected by all of my fellow
employees. Farewell my friend, you will be missed!

I will not be able to attend the service on Saturday, but will be with you in spirit.
Special condolences to Sue Jelinek. I hope to see you soon.
