Gloria Lorraine Kleinke

Gloria Lorraine Kleinke (née Walter); beloved wife of the late Robert L. Kleinke; cherished mother of Bobbette Pulliam, the late John (Jill), and Kenneth (Pookie); loving grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and dear friend to many. Gloria was preceded in death by her sisters Carole (Ed) Delaney and Gayle (Art) Caskey, and her step-mother Loretto (Halaburt) Walter.

Gloria was born to Josephine (née Moriarity) and Byron H. Walter on March 28, 1924. As a young girl, Gloria was an accomplished equestrian, competing in the World’s Fair at the age of 7. She attended Aquinas High School on the South Side followed by her studies at DePaul University. Gloria and Bob married in February 1945 and moved to Western Springs, IL five years later where they raised their 3 children. They enjoyed entertaining, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Gloria will be remembered for her grace, faith, strength, and love of dining.

As a health precaution, services will be held in the late spring of 2021.
