  1. So very sorry Kristen, James and David that you have lost your Uncle Chuck. We had some special times here in Michigan for our “Cousins Day” each summer. We three remaining cousins hope to stay in touch with all of you. May extra special memories of your times with him be a comfort to each of you. Love, Mary Sue (Fortner) Pollitt and family.

  2. May you find peace as you lay your uncle Chuck to rest! Through the years that I saw him at various events starting when Kersten married our son Christopher, the joy & love he felt for his family was abundantly displayed on his face!
Talk about him often, share the good times and the bad times! Laugh and cry when necessary! Hug each other and walk thru the coming days filled with joy because he was your special uncle! Blessings to all! Kathleen & Jon Seeger

  3. Our heartfelt sympathy to you in the loss of your uncle and cousin. Our family enjoyed Chuck’s friendship and his parents for decades through the FUMC of La Grange and more recently through mutual friends at oak trace and the civil war roundtable. We enjoyed many meals together always with such interesting conversations surrounding a broad range of topics. Chuck will be missed by many. Rosie and Tom Roose and family including our Mom Heidi Grieder
