  1. Frank was, the glass is always full type of guy. He was a joy to work with, and a hard guy to keep up with. He had more energy then guys half his age. He will be missed by everybody here at Glenrock, and to all those who knew Frank in the construction industry. Frank was one of the bright spots.

I am so happy to say I read your message and it left me with a smile. You truly knew my dad and described him in the way I remember and miss him. Our family will never be the same without him.

    1. Special thanks to all of you for being a part of my dads life as much as you were. John, he ALWAYS referred to you as “John from Sager” as though it was your actual identity.
      Thank you for reaching out.

  5. Auntie Barbara, Rob and Sue – Lots of time has passed but memories will remain forever. Story time with Uncle Frank will always live on in our hearts. He never failed at making the room laugh and making everyone feel welcome. Growing up in your house was like growing up in my own. We are very sorry for your loss and wish you comfort and support.

All of our love – Phil, Tammy and Daniel Slouka

    1. Frank was a great guy who was a bright spot in my day every time we crossed paths, usually having something to do with St. Cletus. We talked about business at times. He was always Sincerely interested in how things were going. Rob was a classmate of our son Dave , and Frank was a coach of our son Pat in St. Cletus football. He was a positive influence and his energy was contagious.
We wish the best to Barbara and the rest of the family.

      1. Thank you Mr. Mc Mahon. My dad spoke often of the fun he had coaching at Cletus. He also laughed when he shared that Fr. Gallagher told him not to swear so much on the field. Thank you for this memory.

    2. Phil,
Our hearts and homes will never be the same, but we are so blessed with many happy memories. He made sure he made his mark on all of us, and I’ll carry that on as many generations as I can. So happy you are a part of our family.

  6. I learned of Frank’s passing yesterday from the St. Mel newsletter. My deepest sympathy to Barbara and to your immediate family, and to his brother Bobby and sister. While I’ve not seen Frank (or Barbara) or many years, both of you are in my fondest memories of our youth — of growing up in Cicero and attending MQH, of playing baseball with Frank on our 8th grade team (Frank could hit the ball into orbit), of playing basketball with Frank at the Cicero Stadium, of seeing him at the Boys Club on 25th. street, and especially of attending St. Mel. H.S and often riding the CTA bus with Frank and of watching him on the Knights Football team. He was always tough and really good at all sports — and always a great friend. And Barbara — you were the best dancer in our MQH Class of ’59. I share your grief at this moment … and at the same time … I thank you both for the wonderful memories you’ve both provided.
