Mary Ellen L. Rice, nee Holtz, 89, of Woodridge.  Beloved wife of the late Robert.  Loving mother of Richard Rice, Mary Lucille Rice and Barbara Rice (Bob) Klopke.  Devoted grandmother to her grand-cats Nyhm and Lorna.  Also survived by cousins, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.  Memorial Visitation 1pm until Memorial Service 2pm Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Woodridge United Methodist Church, 2700 – 75^th Street, Woodridge, Illinois 60517.  Private inurnment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Salvation Army or Woodridge United Methodist Church appreciated.  Mary Ellen was a charter, active and involved member of Woodridge United Methodist Church.  She was a charter and lifelong resident of Woodridge, and she enjoyed bunco, puzzles and other card games.  Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home at 630/964-6500.
