Mary Kay Koogler (nee Kerber), age 64, of Darien. Beloved wife of the late Jerry R. Koogler; devoted mother of Jeremy Cornelius and Jon Cornelius and Katie (Jeff) Yeagle; cherished grandmother of Joelle and Leo, Ben and William and Leslie; loving daughter of Bernie (nee Grimm) and the late Guido Kerber; dear sister of Jack (Maureen) Kerber, Terry Kerber and Tracy (Bobby) Raser; fond aunt of many. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home  301 – 75th St., Downers Grove, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00pm that evening. Private family interment Bronswood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.   4. I was very sad to hear of the passing of your mother/grandmother. I spent a lot of time with “Kiki” in past years, having met her in high school. We spent a lot of time together as we laughed our way through good times. She has always been close in my thoughts and memories. My thoughts and prayers to you, Jeremy, Jon and Katie.   6. Been thinking about all of you especially as Mothers Day has just past. Growing up my family spent many events together with you mom and her family. Uncle Guido was my Dad’s brother. Your Mom always had the best smile and fun loving spirit. Hugs to you all
