Edwin Whitney Kaler

Edwin Whitney Kaler of Hinsdale; beloved husband of Cynthia for 27 wonderful years; loving brother of the late Patricia; loving son of the late Norma (nee Frye) and the late Edwin. A Memorial Service will be held at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside on Friday, March 2 at 11am. Edwin was a member of the Austin Healey Club of America. Memorial donations to Hinsdale Humane Society in Edwin’s name are appreciated.

  1. Thank you for all your encouragement Ed, your advice on my Sprite repairs were so helpful as you never gave up on my abilities. Also thank you for encouraging me with my VW bus project as you sent great articles of buses to keep me going. I will miss you Ed, rest in piece and get to work helping the angels with their British Cars while looking over all the creatures you love.

  2. You will be missed by everyone who owns and loves a British car. Your helpful advice,and sometimes inelegant suggestions kept most of us laughing in the face of hardship.. I wish I’d been able to meet you in person, but our chats on the phone helped me to know you as a friend. I’m sure that you will have plenty of company waiting at the Bridge. If you see Murphy, tell him I’ll be there soon. If you see Gary, tell him he’d better be sober.
