Roman C. Revering, 81, of Hodgkins. Beloved brother of Adelheid “Penny” (Ed) Heinz, and the late Wilfred (Sylvia) Revering, the late Alvera (late Angelo) Cortesi, the late Florence (Clarence) Huro and the late Alex Revering. Loving uncle of many. Memorial Visitation 9am until Prayers at 11am Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside to St. Cletus Church, LaGrange for Memorial Mass at 11:30am. I was sadden to see that Roman had passed but as I look at his smile I was flooded with fond memories of our years together at St. Luke. My favorite is Roman dressing up as St. Nick for the little ones and passing out chocolate coins…….he will always be in my prayers.
Uncle Roman was my favorite Uncle growing up. It saddens to to say that after my mom (Alvera) and dad (Angelo) passed we became distant. I will forever remember growing up as a child and parties held at our house for the holidays I couldn’t wait for my Uncle Roman to arrive. He was always so much fun. Plus he would do absolutely anything for his nieces and nephews. RIP Uncle Roman.
