  1. Dear Brian, Kevin and Family,
With our support at this difficult time.
It was in the mid 70’s when we first met on Fairfield Avenue; the beginning
of our friendship with the Pearson Family.
What a long full life your dear Mom had with her family and friends.

I am standing on the seashore
A ship spreads her sails to the morning
breeze and starts for the ocean.

I stand watching her until she fades
on the horizon and someone at
my side says: ‘She is gone!’

‘Gone where?’ The loss of sight
is in me, not in her.

Just at the moment when someone
says ‘She is gone,’ there are others
    who watch her coming.’

    Other voices take up the
    glad shout: ‘Here she comes!’

And that is dying. Henry Scott Holland

So sorry we can’t be with you today,
    Judy and George Hiles
