Juanita A. Uczen, suddenly, age 65, of Downers Grove.  Beloved wife of Donald, D. D. S.  Loving mother of Jennifer (Christopher) Riedl and David Uczen.  Devoted sister of Anne Marie Kudelka, M. D. (James Sailer).  Dear aunt of Tomas and Isabel Toledo.  Fond sister-in-law of Mary Ann (Juan) Toledo and the late Diane Uczen.  Visitation 3 to 7pm Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75th St. (at Fairview Ave.), Downers Grove, IL 60516.  Prayers 9:30am Monday, Jan. 23, 2017 at the funeral home to Divine Savior Church, Downers Grove for Funeral Mass at 10am.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Misericordia Heart of Mercy appreciated.  Juanita was a highly admired and dedicated Special Ed. teacher for 36 years, mostly at Madison School in Hinsdale.  She enjoyed travelling, golf, swimming, sunsets and the beach.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, high school classmates and other friends, and neighbors.  Info. 630/964-6500

    I am so sorry for your loss. Juanita was a college friend of mine. I remember her fondly during our years at Loyola University. I will keep her and your family in my prayers. May God give you the strength and peace to accept this great loss and void in your lives.
