William DePasqualeWilliam  J.  “Bill” DePasquale age 80, of Western Springs. U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Eufelia (nee Rattin); devoted father of Christina (Anthony) Stehn and Mary DePasquale; cherished grandfather of Sienna; fond brother-in-law Paul Rattin, Tony (the late Rita) Rattin and the late Lou (Rita) Rattin; brother-in-law of Elaine DePasquale; brother of Fred DePasquale; also survived by many nieces and nephews. William was a retired U.S. Marshall and DEA Agent and served as a Volunteer for the Western Springs Police Dept. Visitation Friday, August 12, from 5 until 8pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers will begin on Saturday, August 13, at 8:45am from the chapel to St. Cletus Church in LaGrange for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am. Entombment Christ the King Garden Mausoleum at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Cletus Church would be appreciated. Service Info:(708) 352-6500

  1. Bill was a key member of the U.S. Marshals Service’s Witsec operations in Chicago. For many years, we relied on his expertise in a wide range of high security activities, which allowed us to keep those people and facilities we were charged with protecting safe. Bill’s ability to find humor in people and things, at appropriate times of course, was always something that we welcomed and appreciated. I am indeed blessed to have had the pleasure to have worked with Bill, and mourn his passing.
