David R. Gross, age 34; son of Carolyn (nee Lakeberg) and Rick Gross; brother of Cara and the late Michael Gross; grandson of Barbara (late Frank) Lakeberg and Mary (late Karl R. I am truly saddened by the loss of Dave. He was sincerely one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, so good natured and positive. He was a joy to be around always and will be greatly missed by many. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this difficult time. Hoping in some way to bring solace is to think of Dave and his little brother Mike now reunited and can rest peacefully together.

He was a great guy. I never knew him at Carthage, he graduated right before I began but he worked at a local bar I went too and we bonded over many mutual carthage friends we shared and the fond memories we had.
Dave was such a kind and warm-hearted person. He will be greatly missed.
