Dolores Jean Skidmore, 87, of Western Springs passed away on the 14^th of May, 2014. Dolores was better known as Dee Taylor, fashion model of the forties through the sixties. Dolores was the loving wife of Sidney; mother to Elizabeth (Dave) McBride and Mark (Cindi) Skidmore; grandmother to Nick (Jill) Lundin and Christopher McBride; great-grandmother to Keegan and Grace. Dolores was the youngest Western Springs Music Club member at age 16, and was recently honored for long membership. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 9am until time of service, 10am at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials given to VFW Post 10778 of Western Springs for the Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated.
