Pauline F. Buban, age 94, of Hinsdale, formerly of Lyons, was born April 16, 1919 in Mystic, IA and died peacefully at home on Feb. 11th.  Beloved wife of the late Charles.  Loving mother of Marie Baker, Patricia (Bernard) Johnson, Charles (JoAnn) Buban and Kathleen (late Timothy) Brodin.  Devoted grandmother of Kristin (Thomas) Kotsakis, Allison (Michael) Genovese, Michael Baker, Tracy (Wayne) VanTrease, Lisa (Thurman) Vaught, Lauren Smith, Shaun (Karen) Brodin and Ryan Brodin.  Great-grandmother of Alexis Kotsakis, Connor and Callie Genovese, Nicholas VanTrease, Nicolette Vaught, Carter Smith and Sara, Briana and Bradley Brodin.  Preceded in death by siblings John Kauzlarich, Katherine Lofgren, Anthony Dolezal, Joseph Dolland, Mary Potokar and William Doland.  Fond aunt to many.  Pauline loved to cook for her family and friends and shared her talent working for Swift & Co. in Oak Brook, the British Home in Brookfield and Our Lady of Bethlehem in LaGrange Park where she managed the kitchen and cooked for 150 sisters and students.  Visitation 4-8pm Friday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside.  Prayers 9:15am Saturday from the funeral home to St. Hugh’s Church for Mass at 10am.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church appreciated.  Funeral info 708-352-6500
