Joyce Deaton Johns, 93, longtime resident of Western Springs and Hinsdale, originally of Oak Park, passed away last week. Loving mother of Barb Mueller and Ken (Kathy) Johns. Devoted grandmother of Ben (Tanya) Mueller, Greg (Malissa) and Steve Johns. Dear great-grandmother of Josh Kelly, Bella Mueller, and Harper Johns. Joyce was preceded in death by her two loving brothers, John and George Deaton. Fond friend of many. Joyce was an avid bridge player, and was a Chicago sports fan, particularly for the Cubs and Bears.  Services private.
