James John Gershon  age 41, of Countryside, passed away on April 3, 2017. James is survived by his loving children Layla Grace, David and Aspen, his mother Barbara Marie Olson, his brothers David (Michelle) Gershon, Douglas (Angela) Gershon and Carl (Cherry) Gershon, his nieces and nephews Mariah, Nick, Hailey, Joshua, Jenna, Jaiden, Julia and  great-niece Jenae and great-nephew Jase. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. James was preceded in death by wife Sunny Gershon and his father John Edgar Gershon. Member of Vasa Order of America Bessemer Lodge #203. Visitation will be on Friday, April 7, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at  Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55^th St. Countryside, where a chapel service will be held at 7:00 p.m. that evening. cremation rites will be accorded privately.
