Carolyn Ione Ryan Cothern, age 82, of Western Springs. Beloved wife of Donald. Loving mother of Philip (Theresa) and Gregg (Susan). Devoted grandmother of Elizabeth, Samuel and Maxwell. Cherished sister of Jean Reincke, Donald Ryan, Judy Brierly, the late Roberta Pray and the late Wanda Bourdoumis. Dear aunt to many. Carolyn served as a nurse for over 30 years at LaGrange and Hinsdale hospitals, was active in P.E.O., Questers, and was an avid golfer with the Oak Brook and Cog Hill ladies. She also enjoyed gardening. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, March 25 at the First United Methodist Church, 4300 Howard Ave., Western Springs, IL. Interment private.
