Clifford Francis Zeien, 95, of Fox Lake and Burr Ridge, IL, proud WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps, retiring as Lt. Colonel in the Reserves. He was a graduate of St. Mel and the University of Illinois, and worked for Western Electric and retired as Comptroller after 39 years. Beloved husband of Ruth (née Yuknis): loving father of Sheila (Robert) Montgomery; fond brother-in-law of Valentine Waisnor (late Alyce); fond uncle of Marilyn Barrett, Alan Waisnor, Keith Waisnor, John (Sara) Yuknis, Paula (Ed) Musilek, Paul Waisnor, and Kenneth Zeien; fond great uncle of Glen, Tracy, Michael, Laura, Holly, Kim, Cole, Michael, Kelly, Tim, Jeff, Monica and Michelle; loving step-grandfather of Jeffrey (Rebecca) Montgomery, Leslie (Neil) O’Donnell, and John (Leigh) Montgomery.
