Maria L. Hanson, age 89, of Palos Park, previously Western Springs.  Beloved wife of the late Harry.  Loving mother of Beth (Nick) Schilling, Mark (Joy) Hanson, Jean (Bill) Middono, the late John and the late Larry (Rita) Hanson.  Devoted grandmother of 13 and adoring great-grandmother of 11.  Dear sister of the late John (Charlotte) Craven.  Maria loved to serve, volunteering at LaGrange Hospital, St. John of the Cross Church and the Nurses Assn. in LaGrange.  Visitation 9am Saturday April 11th until time of Funeral Mass, 9:45am at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Rd., Western Springs.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Thomas Hospice of Hinsdale appreciated.  Hallowell & James Funeral Home assisting the family 708-352-6500
