Alva Albert Frey, 77, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 11, 2014.  Beloved husband of Connie.  Loving father of Sheri (Ben) Barnett and Marcie (Andy) Westel.  Devoted grandfather of Ella Westel.  Dear brother of Keith (Sarah), the late Lester (Gertrude), the late Melvin, the late Delbert Frey, the late Bernice Looker, the late Betty and the late Roberta Frey, the late Mary Jane Sylvester and the late Sharon (Ralph) Deyo.  Fond uncle of many.  Memorial Service 11am Saturday Dec. 27th at Western Springs Baptist Church.  Alva was a postal carrier for the LaGrange Post Office for 25 years and was an excellent carpenter.  He was a member of Western Springs Baptist Church for many years.  Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home at 708/352-6500 or www.hjfunerals.com
