Genevieve M. Franz, age 81, of Downers Grove, passed away July 26, 2025.  Beloved wife of the late Richard Franz. Loving mother of Yvonne (Bruce) Cubberley.  Devoted grandmother of Phillip, Joshua and Timothy Cubberley. Dear stepmother of Richard (Laurie) Franz, Jr. Grandmother of Natalie, Stephanie, and Emily Franz. Cherished cousin of Sherry Oldfield Leo, Terry Oldfield, Suzanne Scott (nee Oldfield), Bradley and Matthew Bokoski. Loving friend of Carrie (late Chuck) Barclay and her sons, John and Joe. Preceded in death by her father, Gordon Bennett Oldfield and mother, Genevieve R. Oldfield (nee Roberts).

Memorial visitation 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 12^th at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1047 Curtiss St., Downers Grove, IL 60515.  Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Inurnment private.
