Maryann McGarvey, age 78, of Burr Ridge passed away on May 20, 2025. Beloved wife of Marc McGarvey for a wonderful 55 years. Dear sister-in-law of Mary Ann (James) Pease, Katherine McGarvey, Patricia (late Joseph) Edgett, Michael (Judy) McGarvey, and Matthew McGarvey.

Maryann was a devoted parishioner at St. Cletus Church, LaGrange. She will be fondly remembered for her love of animals and gardening.

Visitation 3 to 9pm Wednesday, May 28^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Countryside. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, May 29th at St. Cletus Church, 600 W 55th St., La Grange for a 10am Mass. Please arrive a few minutes early to find a seat. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip. Memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse.
