I shall attend the wake at 2.00. Sorry for the loss of your beloved lovely Dad. May almighty father give him eternal rest.
It is with a heavy heart indeed that his passing is felt by those who held a special place in his heart. Rich and I met while attending Austin High School. That connectivity continued through the years.
We were making plans for him to visit my Montana mountain home, and then the stroke.
His life force may have ended, but the memories shared keeps him alive.
My condolences to his sons and their families. Also to his sister Rosie.
Rich was a good friend, and we worked directly/indirectly for a lot of years. He became a “jack of all trades” while working throughout his career, especially in his final years at RRD. He will be missed, such a good person.
It’s been over 60 years since we met at RRD. From our early days of ‘Apprentice Power’ to the bitter rivalry we had with the softball games against the I.C. RR. to the two of us laying out the pressroom at Bedford Park, it was always a fun time being with Rich. He was always positive regardless of the circumstances and I never saw him without a smile. Condolences to Josh, James and his entire family. Rest in Peace old friend.
